Referrals
Who can make a referral?
Anyone can make a referral! Any of the following individuals could complete a referral for a child: family, friend, medical staff, school staff, VI teacher, DHH teacher, early intervention, adult services, etc. For the person making the referral, please let the family know you are doing so and that the KDBP staff will be in contact with them!
Do I need to wait until the next IEP meeting to make a referral?
No, the sooner the better. We will contact the family to discuss services and obtain documentation.
